Our lessons are tailored to the needs and desires of the music student.
Lessons are provided by highly skilled musicians and teachers on a one-to-one basis and are 30 minutes in duration.
Whether you’re an accomplished musician looking to extend and expand your skills, maybe you’re looking to engage with graded examinations through the Royal Irish Academy of Music or Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, or perhaps you’re just beginning this exciting journey, our lessons will support and guide you in a safe, comfortable and creative environment.

Roche School of Music strives to provide a welcoming, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for all students.
Enrolment is subject to lesson availability and completion of the registration process.
Students under 18 years of age must be registered by a parent or guardian.
Lessons will be scheduled following confirmation of enrolment and receipt of any agreed registration payment.
Lessons are 30 minute one-to-one undertaken by a skilled teacher. Group lessons may be available upon request and at the discretion of the school.

Tuition fees are payable according to the agreed payment schedule (block, termly or yearly)
Term 1: September - December
Term 2: January - June
Payments are kindly requested before lessons commence to help maintain lesson scheduling and school operations.
If difficulties arise regarding payment, families are encouraged to contact the school as early as possible so suitable arrangements can be discussed.
Fees are non-refundable once lessons have commenced.
Any additional costs, such as exam entries or music books, will be communicated in advance.

Regular attendance is encouraged to support steady musical progress and confidence.
Students are asked to attend lessons on time.
If a student is unable to attend, the school appreciates advance notice where possible.
Consistent communication regarding absences helps the school provide the best learning experience for all students.
We understand that students may occasionally be unable to attend a lesson. As each lesson time is reserved exclusively for the specific student, missed lessons are non-refundable.

Regular practice between lessons is strongly encouraged to help students build confidence and enjoyment in music.
Teachers will provide guidance on suitable practice routines based on each student’s age and level.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to support younger students in establishing positive practice habits.
Progress in music develops over time, and consistent effort is more important than perfection.

Roche School of Music is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for students, families, and teachers.
Students are encouraged to treat teachers, fellow students, instruments, and facilities with care and respect.
Any concerns or difficulties should be communicated openly and promptly so they can be resolved supportively and constructively.

Should a student wish to discontinue lessons, the school appreciates as much notice as possible.
Any planned breaks or schedule changes should be discussed in advance where possible.
Roche School of Music understands that family schedules and circumstances can change and will always aim to approach such situations fairly and reasonably.
Should a teacher or the school be required to cancel a lesson, an alternate slot will be scheduled or credit may be arranged.
